Have you discovered the inverse relationship between time spent online and time spent doing stuff? I have, and so I kind of relish the abysmal internet connection in my studio. Every minute I'm not on social media (including email), is a minute I can be living the analog dream. Also, I am a relentless e-mail editor - I might be physically incapable of writing an e-mail in less than 15 minutes. All this to say, if you email me, I might not get back to you at warp speed but I will respond with a genuinely thoughtful and over-edited e-mail.
